Still going!

We are about to make our 3rd trip to the gym since Monday. We missed Tuesday. Yesterday we found ourselves struggling through our exercises. It was very hot and humid and I believe it was because we were not hydrated well enough.

  Eating right we are still all doing very well. We are avoiding temptations, and making sure to stay full on the things we can have. Lots of watermelon and other fruits and veggies. We have decided to only weigh and measure once a week, so I am anxious to see how that goes next Monday.

  The past year my weight has really gotten up there. I have been above 200lbs for most of 10 years. This year I worked for 9 months at a salon for 9 hours a day. I didnt make it to the gym ever. By the time I made it home, all I wanted to do was lay on the couch. I also went through alot of emotional stress in my marriage. I gained nearly 35lbs since November 2012. That has had a huge effect on my energy.
   But I am feeling alot more energy this week and I believe that we all can do this!!! We are going to get in shape and do it eating right and exercising :-)

3 Generations getting in shape!

  Today starts our battle of the bulge!

Gwen (mimi) age 56
Weight 171
GOAL: 130 by Halloween 2013 

Misti (mom) age 32
Weight 248
GOAL: 210lbs by Halloween, 180lbs by Jan 2014

Tyger (daughter) age 14
Weight 156
GOAL: be in better shape by start of highschool in 28 days! 15-20 lbs long term
  
I also took our measurements and I will add starting photos later!

  We start this 3 days into no cokes, bread, sugar, and Tyger and Misti have opted to restricted diet of whole grain cereals, fish, chicken, eggs, canned soups, vegetables, fruits, yogurt, popcorn, nuts. Tyger has convinced me to take myself off red meats for awhile! A few days in and a few creative meals later...we aren't missing too much! Definately not starving! I don't think diets work, I believe exercise and a better knowledge of what ur eating works best.
  We have decided to allow one cheat meal a week in which we may go out to eat or cook something off our list! We will adjust as necessary :-)

  We have agreed to be addicted to exercise!
